service authors, artists, athletes and others in the entertainment world who were early
clients of her law practice, Wanda M. Akin, Attorney At Law in Newark, NJ. Ms. Akin has
over 16 years of experience as a trial lawyer in a wide variety of cases including
contract disputes, employment/labor, trademark, copyright, and criminal defense
litigation. She has represented professional athletes in the United States and abroad in
negotiation of contracts. She is a Certified NBA Agent having been officially registered
and approved by the National Basketball Association. She has represented coaches in the
NBA and also serves as a consultant to professional athletes, coaches and sports
